The service

Local Rank Tracker runs Google Maps searches from a grid of locations and shows where a business appears in the results. Results are what Google showed at the moment of each search. Google changes its results all the time and personalises them, so your own phone may show something different. We’re not affiliated with Google.

Accounts, free scans and credits

• One account per person. Each person, device, network and email address can have one free scan per day (UK time), up to 81 pins. Using several accounts to get more free scans isn’t allowed.
• One credit is one search from one map pin. The credits a scan or campaign run uses are shown before it starts.
• Paid plans give you a monthly allowance of plan credits, which resets to the allowance at the start of each billing month and doesn’t roll over.
• Top-up credits never expire while your account is open. Pins that fail after three attempts are refunded as top-up credits.
• Credits have no cash value and can’t be transferred.

Payments and cancelling

Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can cancel or change plan at any time from your account. When you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the month you’ve paid for and isn’t renewed. If you’re not happy within 14 days of your first payment, email us and we’ll refund it in full. Top-ups are refundable within 14 days if you haven’t used them.

Client reports

If you send reports to other people, you’re responsible for having their permission to email them. Reports sent on your behalf show your agency name when your plan includes white-label.

Fair use

Please don’t share accounts, resell raw search data, try to get around credit or free scan limits, or use the service to break the law or Google’s terms. We can suspend accounts that do, and we may pause scans briefly if our search provider has problems.

Liability

We work hard to keep the service accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that rankings will improve. Our total liability to you is limited to what you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll email you at least 14 days before it applies.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
